Yep, Watermelon Sugar is still a happening place, usually very late though. It's music is kinda okay and the dancefloor is the size of a postage stamp, but it is definitely a pick-up joint if you are interested in picking up some local girls (and boys, I suppose ~ it is ostensibly a gay bar).
The Long Island ice teas they serve there are the most steamingly alcoholic drink I have ever consumed. Two of 'em and totally unco. I currently have the burn marks on my right arm (?) to prove it. Oh and a barked shin, with no idea how either of the injuries came about. |
