I've been trying to find some newer PC games, and I'm having a real problem figuring out where. I know Steam lets you get SOME games, but the ones I want aren't available through Steam in Korea.
There have to be sources out here, but I'm having trouble finding them. Can someone help with this? |

Try a family member who can send games to you (check first to make sure it's legal). The problem is that game companies have distribution contracts set up with local companies, which means they're not allowed to sell games overseas, even via the internet. The local companies then only sell a game which is translated in Korean.
Having said that, I found several games I was looking for in Yongsan after a very short search. I do speak a fair bit of Korean, however, and had Korean friends with me who could translate. I just asked shopkeepers if they had English games. The packaging was all in Korean, and for one of the games the manual was in Korean, but the games were pure English. The selection wasn't huge, but most of the games were newer. |
