It's math.
calories taken in = calories burned.
btw.. any ideas on why there was no "obesity problem" before WW2.. Before 1970 even?
there's still no obesity problem outside of the US, Canada, UK and Germany but it's exploding in places like Mexico and there are an awful lot of FAT Koreans around my town.
(amazing how that socioeconomic status vs fatness link works like a charm)
any guesses on why that is? (I can help if you'd like.. I guess the others just have "better" DNA, eh?  )
stick to the formula and you cannot have obesity, or even chunkiness.
basic basic math.
and I figured it was only a matter of time before someone started whining.
the thread was started by an active fellow who recently got some bad medical news. The fact it turned into a simple "fat expose" shouldn't have gotten it removed.
another attack on freedom of speech and expression. it's become a regular feature of this board. Wonder what the excuse was? racist?
or just what kind of "ist" or "ous" was it?
but you knew someone would start whining.

perhaps, though that's overstating it by a mile.
but under such criteria, you could say 90% of all whining about Korea, Korean "culture" and life in Korea is
"horrible and baseless".
Which would mean 90% of the posts on this forum would be deleted.

We're not even saying you're a bad person for being fat, Dokdo. We're just pointing out that being fat is quite rarely anything but the state of burning fewer calories than you're taking in. |

without commenting on the veracity of your claim, they are statistically much higher inclined to whining and complaining about what they perceive to be "horrible" or "baseless" attacks.
or just anything they happen to deem "offensive"
