Anyone know where a nice young man, such as myself, can purchase a real life loofah sponge? Nothing less will do. At some point growing up, wash cloths and those wacky plastic woven doo-dads just stopped being able to deliver. Otherwise can someone who's coming to Seoul smuggle one in for me? I'm turning into a crusty butt mountain of dead skin!!

People who don't know how to use the word "thou" shouldn't lecture those know don't know how to spell it.

Speaking of learning and growing, I learned that loofahs grow right here in Korea, and when they're fresh they look like squashes or courgettes. My boyfriend was actually working on a farm that grew loofahs. They're around; don't give up hope!

Geez people, it's "canst thou"

Does anybody know if there are bean bag chairs in Korea? Figured I'd just ask in here before starting another "Where is x product?" thread.

They can also be had at kitchen supply places (you sometimes see them being sold at subway stations too), as many Koreans use them to scrub dishes with.

I have to say, though, I was a big fan of the loofa until I came here and one of my friends bought me those cheap little exfoliation cloths. Those make the loofa look like crap.

The ones that feel like sandpaper against your skin? I hate those.

He's right, you know. It's canst thou.

The OP should change the title of the thread.

I've never NOT found a loofa in a store I've looked for them in. Even those mid-sized neighborhood grocery stores have them.

I went to Skin Food, Olive Young, Watsons, Daiso, Todas Cosas and every little skin and cosmetics shop that looks promising and still no loofa. I have noticed that when I start to get more detailed in conversation, some folks seem to be confused. It seems that many people are calling any plastic tangle of webbing a loofah. Others seem to know exactly what I mean. Someone on this thread talked about them being grown here. The last lead was a GS neigborhood market in 서울대입구 so I will head over there. I'm gonna find one and I'm going to feel clean damnit!

Hey, my gf picked one up the other day at The Face Shop - cheap, 1200 KRW. Funnily enough, as she was buying it, I thought of this thread.

TFS is a chain...and COEX has at least two locations. I'm surprised you couldn't find it at Skin Food, that's where I got mine. Good luck.
