Hello,
How can I get Microsoft Office for free?
Can I simply download it? What are the chances of it giving my computer a virus or crashing all the time?
Thanks. |

I think there are torrents out there. I saved one from a while back, believe it was 2004 premium and it has always worked for me. Best bet is to check other users comments to see if they had issues with it.
PM me if you need a copy though, in Seoul and can burn you a copy. |

I like to download stuff for free, but since office was only $60 with that student's special, I said why the hell not. |

Try open office. It's free and works well with office documents. |

I second OpenOffice. I've got MS Office and OpenOffice on my computer, and I prefer using OpenOffice. It's got all the functionality I need , and it crashes a lot less. Best of all, it's legal and FREE. |

You will find a good clean copy on most invite only torrent sites. Most of the generally music only sites also have apps like this.

I third OpenOffice.org (which is the name of the program as well as the site to download it from.) I've used it exclusively for 3 years now, and I have no complaints.
It's interface is basically identical to MS Office 2003, so it's really easy to use, and it can read and output about a bajillion formats (including .doc). |
