That annoying little puppy that comes up whenever you try to do something with MS Word - is there a way to get rid of it? Is there any function for turning it off?

You can hide it: Click the Help icon. Scroll down to Hide Office Assistant.

FYI, in the future if you ever need help with MS Word, just click Help icon. Click Microsoft Office Word Help. Enter what you want. It should run a search. Voila.

Hope it helps.

I used a hammer and now I can't see anything but strange colors in the top right section of my screen. But the dog is gone.
