I can't answer as I need to really think about this at first. |

I liked the early Image comics anti-hero like Spawn and Witchblade. None of that corny Marvel crap.
Does anyone remember Shadowhawk. He was a HIV posistive black dude who would break criminal's backs as a calling card. It was pretty good. |

You're saying Spawn and Witchblade aren't corny? |

Yea, Colossus is cool, I always liked Gambit as well... pretty much all of the New Mutants had interesting aspects to their character. |

I've never cared for Superman much, he's a big badass and nothing more.
Silver Surfer is near or at top of my list, he was always the underdog in his comics, taking on god-like beings and such.
Batman from anything Frank Miller is awesome too, though I'm reluctant to call him a hero ;p |

Besides Spidey? Always found Aquaman cool. And I like the new Batman that has emerged in the last two films very much. |

I used to get box loads of comics at yard sales and flea markets we'd go to. I remember one super-hero called Firestorm, basically a freak accident in a lab merged a scientist and a 16 year old boy together in one body. At will Firestorm could fly around (had fire coming out of his head) and could conjure up pretty much anything he thought of. I remember when the Justice League made an appearance once and Superman got in a scuffle with Firestorm and Firestorm put Superman in a Kryptonite cage, pretty cool. Sadly I don't know how or why that comic book hero stopped. Maybe I'll go try to find out now. Thanks for inspiring me. |
