The cause of these protests is due to Environmentialism. Very smart of the Taiwanese. If the protest due to Mad Cow, they would get ridiculed like the Koreans. But if they say its due to saving the Environment....... |

Are they also protesting, for environmental reasons, the imports from China?
I'm not American, but am none the less growing tired of how totally naked the double standards are. |

I think the mindset around the world is "Its coming from China so you expect it to be inferior. The US should be held to the highest standard."
So, China gets away with sending poisonous, dangerous products overseas. Remember the lead paint in childrens' toys a few years ago? |
