It's Friday and I demand some real coffee. None of this fake instant coffee that people keep insisting to me is good. I live in the Northern part of Suwon, near the Suwon Stadium in Jowon. I've only been to Suwon station once because taking the buses to Sadang and Gangnam are faster to get out of Suwon.

Now, I'm hoping there is a decent coffee shop near Suwon station that I can get to after work today. Does anyone know if there are any: Starbucks, Holly's Coffee, or Angel-in-us coffee shops near the station? If so, where?

My coffee addiction thanks anyone who reply's to this thread!

Yes, there is a starbucks at suwon station. There are a few other places too. The angelinus is inside the department store somewhere. And there are two or so more chains around the station area also.

Yes. I believe there is one on the left of the main enterance (street level). If you are walking straight towards the entrance, veer to your left, and you will see it tucked away around the corner. It's behind the main bus stop.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't want to make a trip to Suwon station and not be able to find a coffee shop. It's simply too cold today to spend all that effort to have it wasted.
Oh well, at least I know what I'm doing when I get off from work today!!!!!

Your Welcome. Nice manners are missing on Daves at times. I hope they make you a great coffee.

OP, there's a starbucks and an Angel-in-us.
For Angelinus, walk out the station and face the station, walk towards your left, 20metres tops. (same side of the road as the station)

For Starbucks - get out the station (cross the road undeground, through the underground market). There's a big main road with lots of Cellphone stores, banks etc. This road is perpendecular to the station on the other side of the big traffic circle. Starbucks is on the left side of the ride next to Shinhan bank.

There are TONS of dunkin donuts and baskin robbins all over. I think 5 in the station complex and another 3 just across the road. Finally, there are quite a few 'niche' coffee shops in the area just across the road from the station. These are my favourite as they have really comfortable couches, the coffee is pretty good, and the one place has a weekday special offering free cake with every coffee. I also like the smoking sections (normally just korean girls there...so no real smoke haze)

Thanks for the details!! I have a dunkin near me but, they don't fix the best coffee.
I was really just looking for a place to be able to sit and read (comfortably) while enjoying some quality coffee. I'll have to check out some of those niche places you were describing another time.
