Has anyone ever visited either island?
... and can you share some info on hotels, please?

Hi There.

I have been there before but I would like more information, too, from others.

Stayed at 'Grand hotel saipan' a very reasonable place with nice service, pool etc and bus which goes to the duty free store, near the main shopping district. Note that it is a little bit away from the main strip.

It recently went up in price but still seems to be one of the affordable ones on the island. Also it is across from a Winchell's.

The gorgeous place is the Hyatt Regency, but naturally costly.

I can't remember the place I stayed on Guam, but it was not bad. Guam is more developed though so more shopping.

I just went to Guam for 5 days. I was doing a visa run.
I stayed at Tamuning plaza hotel..A place I don't recommend at all. I picked it because it was the cheapest place I could find at just $55/night.
I stayed there two nights before moving to Days Inn. That will put you back about $76/night but they have shuttle service to the beach and other places as well as free internet in the lounge.

Guam is Really expensive to stay in but has some gorgeous diving/snorkeling. There are a lot of things you can do there but as I said before, you'll need money.

If money isn't an issue, I"d try going to one of the other hotels that are on the Strip...almost all of them have private pools and some even have waterparks. I visited one of them after making friends with a few workers.

Hope that helps
