I'm about to spring for a new laptop - I've got it narrowed down to two choices - either a Toshiba or Sony Vaio. On my laptop, which I bought from Fry's in the US, I was able to purchase a 5-year warranty for a few extra hundred bucks, and I never regretted having that extended warranty. Is it possible to buy any kind of extended worldwide warranty for a laptop I purchase here? I'm thinking probably not but just thought I'd ask...
