Last week I completed my first week of an after school position. All went pretty smoothly I guess, co-teacher is quite good and giving me lots of freedom to do whatever I want. The previous teacher would reward the students all the time with candy and they also receive stickers for their homework file.
However, I feel like giving candy out on Friday (Game Day) and was thinking of having a big monthly poster on the wall for each class with perhaps the students' names listed down and add/remove stickers to it if they're good or bad. Perhaps whoever has the most stickers at the end of the month gets more candy or a special prize..... Anyone do something similar to this or any suggestions? |

Yeah, I think it is a good idea. I do something similar and it has worked well for me. Every 10 stickers the kids get a small prize.
be careful though, my kids are notorious cheaters - even going so far as to steal stickets off the 'slow' students. |
