RSS is a technology that allows you to get an overview of updates from websites without actually having to visit those websites. It can be really convenient, and I assume many people on these forums already use it for other websites, so why not for Dave's?

In the first post of a series, I show on my website how you can subscribe to Dave�s ESL Cafe Korean Job Postings instantly in just one click.

I actually offer two custom RSS Feeds to choose from: one which automatically blocks out almost all recruiter ads, or the plain vanilla one which just shows you every ad that makes it to the Korean Job Board postings.

I tested these as best as I could on my own, but please comment if they work for you (and especially if they don't).

[2008/12/08 Update: This RSS Feed has now been updated to block in total over 130 recruiter names. Those of you who are already using it don't need to do anything for these updates to take effect. Just keep using it, and you will see fewer and fewer recruiter ads.]

Unlike previous solutions I've posted, this one works with any modern browser on any operating system. To the best of my knowledge, it has zero potential to mess up your system or do anything worse than "not work".

This RSS Feed has now been updated to block in total over 130 recruiter names.

Those of you who are already using it don't need to do anything for these updates to take effect. Just keep using it, and you will see fewer recruiter ads than ever.

Those who would like to start using it will also benefit automatically from the updates.
