|
|
Did anyone else read it? What drug was he talking about? He mentioned alcohol addiction here in Korea, but no other drugs. He also referred to the recent case wherein some actors and English teachers were arrested (I am familiar with that case).
And the Korean words he referred to - what did they mean? |

Maybe thats the problem, it's too hidden.
If anyone can find it, the journalist would like to do a little career-enhancing personal investigation

TB, the article was in either the weekend edition or the Monday edition of either the Herald or the Times; written by an expat, as I recall. Sorry I can't be more specific. |

I think you can find it at the hidden news website.
There should be a hidden hyperlink there.
You can find it either on the internets or the interweb, I'm not sure. |

I walked past a cab a few weeks ago and the guy was smoking either meth or crack. I didn't stop to stare, so I'm not sure which it was exactly, but it was one of them. This was out by Jamsil Station. |

It's known that meth comes to North and South Korea from Myanmar and Southern China. I believe there's a great deal of meth use in Korean cities, but it's discreet due to it being illegal and you'd never see it as a foreigner nor want to. It's known that North Korea deals in large quantities of drugs to finance its' regime. I would not doubt if the military junta government of Myanmar is in cahoots with the NORK regime.
It is also said that in Beijing, there is a lot of hash, some of which makes it to Busan and Seoul. I know the Thai like to get Hai. In San Francisco, the Chinese are said to be involved in drugs trade, but are highly discreet about it. It's unlikely that Koreans are smoking any cannabis products except maybe hash could be used in Buddhist temple incense or burned by monks for meditation.
I believe all this I heard... |

Korea seems to be speed oriented besides drinking this stuff in restaurants they call maekju and soju.

Some Westerners here could learn from this discreetness. |
