I've been working here for over 9 months now. I got my paperwork in last December before the visa rules changed so I didn't need to do a criminal record check or medical.
My boss just told me the medical insurance people are asking for me to do a health check. Does that sound legit? I'm in the middle of a feud with my employers so I'm skeptical. |

| Yeah it is for medical. It is basically a waste of time unless you count the chest x-ray. They do a urine test for sugar that most diabetics will tell you is worthless unless they take into account when your last meal was eaten. Other than that it is bp and looking at an eye chart. I have refused every year to take my physical after the first one. I go to the dr enough and have had more scans, test, and check ups than anyone I know. |
