The Metropolitician (http://metropolitician.blogs.com/) runs an open class every so often - I think there's a series coming up, as he's been posting about cameras recently. Couldn't hurt to get in touch and let him know you're interested.

nosmallplans...can't pm yet so have no other way to contact you. I'm interested in learning, not practicing. Where in Korea are you located?

Thanks

just east of seoul in namyangju (next door to guri). i'd suggest you come out to the kais photo scavanger hunt on sunday and i you can tag along with me. i'll give you some pointers.

to be honest theres very little book studying that needs to be done with photography unless you're interested in the advanced techniques which aren't worth your time unless you're being paid.

i'll make you a better photographer in an afternoon!

you can email me at: jason dot whang at gmail dot com

Could you summarise why? My impression is that the course are quite popular, so it'd be useful for beginners to know if there are downsides.

Edit: I'm going to change my post here because M is such a good guy. I'm not wanting to hurt his business, and he knows where things went wroung with that class - so I'm hoping that no one else runs into the same troubles.
