Hi y'all!

I'm getting more and more motivated to part with my DSLR.

The camera in question is a D1h. It comes with rebuilt Li-ION batteries (last much longer than the originals!) (x2), a charger, 2x512 mb CF memory cards, and a body cap. It's an all-metal, weather sealed, professional camera. It's really fast, the viewfinder is really nice and big (much better than D40, D50, D60, D70, D80, etc), it's really durable, blazing burst speeds, and quick auto-focusing.

Unlike the D40, D40x, and D60 it supports lenses that don't have focusing motors built in. Unlike the D70, D80, D90 it supports pretty much all the lenses nikon has ever made, (the above cameras lack the mechanical linkages for manual focus lenses).

If you like photojournalism-type shooting, or just want to see what this DSLR thing is all about... this camera is perfect.

there are a couple of superficial marks on the body, but from most angles it looks new. It's in really nice condition -- don't let the low price fool you, it's a really capable camera.

I'm asking for 300,000won. I'm located in the Anyang area.

This camera doesn't come with a lens. that said, if you go to namdaemun, there are a ton of camera shops that sell used lenses that can be had for not too much money.

How many shots have you taken on it? Have you ever had it serviced? Did you change lenses frequently? Have you ever had the sensor cleaned? Am I correct in understanding that this camera's sensor is 2.62 megapixels or is it 2.74 (I found conflicting specs)? Does this have an auto ISO function? I read that it takes about 250 pictures before the battery dies but I am a little confused about that because obviously these don't use the NiMH they were originally designed for. How many shots can it takes before it dies?
This maybe an old camera but they are built like takes from what I have heard and at the right price I would consider buying one.

One more bump and then I'll call it quits. I'll keep it as my 'dangerous situations' camera.

I'd just like to comment... as a photographic tool, this thing is superior to all but the D200 and up. I had a D70 previously, and I enjoy using this D1h far more. it will also most definitely outlast all of the plastic-bodied cameras.

It's not so good for those with small hands though, admittedly (but great for those with bigger hands!)

This is a decent camera. It's got plenty of life left in it folks.

My d40 is 1/4 of the way through it's life cycle, which is about 40-45,000 actuations. And it's under a year old.

His has 15K out of 100,000. That's enough life for 10s of 1000s of more pictures. This is a great price considering its got good specialized batteries. A BGN condition D1h is going for about 170US on KEH (comparable with what the OP is asking for in won, and his is in better shape).

Remember, more megapixels doesn't equate a better image. Lenses will make a big difference, but it's your photographic eye that will really bring out the pictures you take.

I'd buy it, but I'm saving for a new lens at the moment. Those of you looking at getting into DSLR photography, it doesn't get much better than an offer like this. Although the image tech is older, it only matters if you're a pixel peeper or if you blow up your images to huge sizes.

And if you have big hands, this camera's fantastic.

170US is not 300,000 won (thank g-d). I'd probably buy it for the equivalent prices I see this going on ebay and I would be willing to pay in American dollars if you have paypal. Just something to consider mr Nine.

My bad. Forgot to mention that KEH international shipping is 47+. So it does come to more or less about what the OP is asking.

Totally agree about that median. I know of some people whose D40s lasted them 25,000 actuations before the shutter died. I just hope mine lasts beyond that.
