Do you ever go on trips with your public schools, hagwons or universities?

Do you enjoy the trips that you go on?

What is the best place that they have ever taken you to?

Yeah, at my private HS we go on trips occasionally. We went mountain hiking in Jiri-san national park the week before last, but we've also been to a theme park a couple of times.

At the moment, there's a lot of excitment and talk about the up coming teachers 'workshop', which we're going on on the 26th/27th December. They call it 'workshop' but it's actually a big piss up. Last year we went to Daejeon for the night. We had a big meal, then all 20 of us or so headed to a singing room. They all belted out a few ballads before the principal and female teachers disappeared and the hookers were rolled out. I've never seen such outrageous behaviour from a bunch of 50-year olds. Suffice to say it was very messy.

I try not to go.

Imagine only a few Koreans speak English. The ones that don't will burden the ones that do to translate. It can hamper relations more than helping. If many teachers at your school can communicate in English, then go if you want.
