Thinking of moving to Seoul sometime in the future (not immediately). What schools offer the best housing (large; good neighborhood; cheap; free)? I have a large place now, so it would be kind of difficult to move back into a studio. As a result, my next school will be chosen largely by what sort of housing they offer. I know I could rent my own place but I like when the school does it for me. Less hassle.

Most good unis don't offer housing. Some may offer subsidized housing, but it's usually studio-type housing as far as I know. Other unis may offer housing, but once again, it will be studios or even on-campus dormitory housing.
SMOE is a mixed bag and housing is decided on by each school. You may get a tiny, tiny studio or you may get a 1 bedroom or loft-style apartment. Whether you live in the city center or on the outskirts is also a factor. |

A studio isn't going to cut it. space is really importnat to me and I have more junk thatn any foreigner in Korea. I was thinking more like a two bedroom. That's what I have now (I'm in a rural area).

| You most likely wouldnt get that in Seoul. Even some couples dont have 2 bedrooms. |

Oh, I'm a couple. Yea, me and my wife..err...uhhh...Mabel will be moving in. That's right her name is Mabel. She's busy a lot so you usually don't see her.

| I`m just saying schools don`t even give 2 bedroom apartments to married couples. Sometimes just a normal studio or one bedroom. No need to be sarcastic. |

I wasn't being sarcastic. The English department at my first university encouraged me to lie about my marital status so that they could justify giving me a bigger apartment. I got a two bedroom and my wife's (who no one ever saw) was named 'Betty'.
