If you need some help getting a cell phone in Korea, Adventure Teaching helps you out. I know for foreigners with an ARC it's easy, but if you don't have one yet, they are an option.

Actually, don't work for them, but do know them quite well which is why I feel quite confident to recommend them. True though, good marketing ploy if I did! |

Getting a cell phone is as easy as taking a dump for anyone here.
1.) go to an LG store
2.) take out your ARC and bank book
3.) point to the phone you want
4.) sign the form
5.) walk out with your phone
How hard is that? Do you really need to pay someone a "small fee" to avoid this hard process? How lazy does that make you? |

I guess this is for people who can't wait 2 weeks until they get their ARC. |

pay as you go phone = walk into any store, buy a phone and get a number.
You need your passport and some cash.

I say if its someone who is just coming to Korea, but korean cell phones on ebay. I bought 3 for 10 dollars. All 3 worked and were from a former dance group. Other teacher or people here do sell them online and cheap.
then walk in and prepay. |

I think this company is doing contract phones for teachers. Could be cheaper than pay as you go. |

not to hassle you, but "you think"? your first post (before you edited it) sounded like a walking billboard. you seemed to know everything about the company and used quite a few exclamation marks (my friends love it!!!! it's cheap and easy!!!!). now you're not sure if they do contract phones and it "could" be cheaper? stop touting. people pay for advertisements on here. you should, too. |
