The only good thing out of this is...
lonestar is now a verb.

Remember that it isn't about who starts it, it's about who causes the most damage. This seems to be a common theme!

This would be a lot more fair if the president of Samsung were put in jail as well.

you punch me in the nose and i am the one who goes to jail because i saw the hit coming and didn't move quickly enough to avoid it, and furthermore i bled all over some woman's carpet because i didn't react fast enough to contain the blood pouring out of my broken nose

*beep*

that is not justice in any way shape or form

Despite many many posts I've never resorted to name calling or vulgar language, but there is only one way to respond to this.
Moronic, racist, savages.
If Judges in Korea are the intellectual elite, what does it say about the rest of the population?

I'm becomingly increasingly irate at Korea.

We have had nothing but racism and shit in our uni, they treat us like aliens, criminals or big teddy bears and they always try to blame shit on foreigners. I've been lonestarred here since day 1.

This is a perfect example of the petty minded vindictive streak that I experience on a weekly basis working here. I'm bloody fed up with it.

Obviously, I don't know all of the facts, but given the recent cases of injustice being carried, its really hard not to conclude that something really rotten is going on behind the scenes. Who knows? Maybe, Samsung paid off the judges. Now, of course, it would appear that the two Indians, in question, are being scapegoated for Samsung's misdeeds. If this is truly the case, as I suspect, then I really hope that India takes some retaliatory action against Samsung, if not Korea for allowing this miscarriage of justice.

For similar reasoning:
Quote:
Gyeonggi Provice said it will file a damages suit against KT&G, demanding the nation's largest tobacco company should be held accountable for losses from fire started by cigarette butts.

``Like any other manufacturer, KT&G is obliged to remove any danger from its products. But it has neglected its duty so far,'' Choi Jin-jong of the province told reporters. ``It is reaping huge gains from sales of cigarettes but citizens are paying the costs to extinguish fires. It's not fair and that's why we are filing the suit.''

I checked on Google News and this decision has made the BBC news website along with several Indian sites, so the news is getting out abroad. I found this statement quite interesting:

Quote:
V.Ships, which says it is the world's largest ship manager, said in a statement Thursday the court's decision "will surely go down as one of the most disgraceful examples of a miscarriage of justice in a 'supposedly' advanced nation state.

Korea's gotta lose some major face over this one, I hope the money Samsung gave the judges was worth it.

I hope India invades Korea. Conquers it. Then gives it to Japan to manage.

If the foreign boat wasn't there the accident wouldn't have happened! They must share responsibility. You must understand Korean culture.
