Where can I Find the Blacklists/Graylists/Whitelists?
There are a lot of arguments about the pros and cons of the Blacklists and Whitelists. Some question the validity of them while others think they are a good place to start. Read these threads for further information.
1. Reputability of Schools
2. The Hagwon Report
3. How accurate are the blacklists?
4. Best Hagwons or Recruiters Any Advice?
5. Korea Newfie's Ultimate Recruiter List
Do You Have Any Information About *this* school?
Lots of people ask for reports about different schools on this site and so there are too many to list here. Try doing a Search of your school. Put the school name in the search field and select the button to Search for all terms. Alternatively, you can check out The Hagwon Report which is an independent website with a lot of information gathered on numerous schools. |

Hi Phil,
So did I. I'm supposed to start on Feb 1st. It sounds like a decent job and a teacher I emailed who currently works there said it was decent. Not a dream job but better than some of the nightmares out there!
Give me a PM with your phone number if you want to go for a coffee sometime. I have only been here for 3 days and I have no friends (LOL)

Hi there,
I was almost set to sign on the dotted line but the whole no vacation didn't work for me in my particular circumstance. They did however agree to give me one week paid vacation. I really wanted two...I know this is a little greedy of me but my first vacation is to be a whirlwind trip back to Canada for a wedding and I really wanted another one to experience a bit more of Asia...anyway...I liked them and I kept some of my correspondence with the teachers and I think maybe a list of questions I had regarding the contract. If you want to PM me and send me your email address, I can send you the messages, email addresses of teachers andanything else I might have.... |
