For the month of January I'm going to a Muay Thai boxing camp in Phuket, Thailand ( http://www.rawaimuaythai.com ). I've read about the recuperative benefits to deep tissue sports massages (real ones, not "happy ending") and have heard they're available at very reasonable prices in Thailand.

Does anyone have any idea how often someone training Monday-Saturday for six hours each day should get one of these massages?

First of all you shouldnt workout that much but if you need to get your massages after the week of training. It would be best to take days off between workouts and have your massages then

Thai massage is dangerous and I get so many patients who are injured from that form of massage. Best to get swedish style massage.
