I don't want to get into my medical history, but I'm looking for a heart specialist in Seoul. I've already been to a local doctor in Suwon and a heart specialist at Severence Hospital, but I'd like to get another opinion. Anybody have any recommendations on where else I could go? |

Samsung Hospital in Seoul has the best reputation. Definitely get a second opinion, but it is good to know that the medical culture here is quite different and your doctor may resent it if you get a second opinion. My advice is not to tell your current physician that you are getting a second opinion.
Good luck and definitely make the extra effort to get the best physician there is. There are excellent physicians in Korea but you have to find them. If the doctor is younger than 35, politley excuse yourself from further treatment. You will have to pay more for older more experienced doctors. Definitely pay it.
