My favourite is the K2 mountaineering ad with the ice shark. The guy's expression at the end is priceless.

I hate most Korean ads. But there's a trick I discovered that makes them universally enjoyable: mute them. I don't know how it works, but all of a sudden they become hilarious.

I chose not to get cable TV in my new apartment. 1 pitcher of watered down Cass deserves the 5,000 won more than the shit they put on Korean TV.

The Rush and Cash ad featuring what appears to be a parody of the Beatles and Beatlemania. Remember way back when their ads featured Han Chae-young? Those were the days.

Apologies for the blatant plug for my blog, but then considering that it's all about Korean advertising then I think I can be forgiven! Very Happy But with hundreds up there then it does make choosing them a little harder though...

Just scrolling quickly through recent posts then, probably the most bizarre is the first video in the link below for Soksu water, which, as I explain there, resembles the surreal, nightmarish 1994 Soundgarden track Black Hole Sun more than anything else. Sure as hell doesn't make me want to drink water anyway...

Easily the coolest is this next one for Jinro Soju though.
