Apparently, it's not appeared this large since 1992, I'm told...
Watch out for lycanthropes and barfights, kids! "There's a bad moon on the rise."
(tho personally I think it'll be a good one tonight.)

I noticed at 5 O'clock the moon was the largest I've ever seen, but not as large as you see in many photographs. It looks large tonight, because it's closer than a full moon normally is.

What's the deal with the moon looking huge in photographs, but it never looks that big to my eyes in real life? Even tonight's exceptionally large moon is no match for the moon photos.

the full moon certainly explains the horrific crap I have been wading through the last few hours
