Koreans have a touch like an elephant when it comes to all matters food. How can they be so useless and how can Korean food suck so much? Just looking at most Korean food makes me wanna puke.....and don't even get me started on the god damn awful smell! I love Thai, Mexican, Italian food etc. Korean food is the most vile food I have ever had the displeasure to taste (and spit out)!.
Korean food is disgusting.
Korean food is NOT spicy.
I hate Korean food. |

I probably wouldn't move to a country if I didn't like the local cuisine.
Enjoy your time here. |

Considering how much pride Korean's have in their food, it is surprising how shit it actually is.
(been here 5 years and married to a Korean)

Nope. I cook my own food most of the time so it's not a problem. When I eat out it's never Korean food so that's ok too. Oh yeah did I mention.............?................?
Korean beer is the worst ever! (even worse than American beer!)
I HATE Korean beer. |

| Do you like kimchi? Is it too spicy for you? I hope not because it has cancer preventative properties and is the national food of Korea. Very good! You can make kimchi bokeumbap and kimchi jigae and kimchi kimbap with it just to name a few or just eat it straight from the jar. Try some today. |

Kimchi is not spicy. Korean food is not spicy. I LOVE spicy food.....such as Thai food. When I lived in Thailand I used to eat raw chillies on a daily basis...and send back dishes to the kitchen (not spicy enough) because the cook hadn't listened to me (thinking all westerners can't eat spicy food!) when I said....ow pet pet na khrap. (make it really spicy!).

I second that although I haven't met a cuisine that I was repulsed by. I think some people are just picky eaters. |

Maybe you just don't know any better. I lived in Thailand for a few years and loved and could eat almost every single dish. Korean food is absolute vomit in comparison. |

1) Give it time, I didn't like Korean food that much for my first year but now I really love it, some food takes time to adjust to like really strong cheese or pickles
2) You need to find what you like, lots of Korean food is awesome
3) You are sort of right, some food sucks, whether it's the way it was made or just the nature of the food. Stay clear from bad restaurants or the things you just can't stomach.
I for one do not love kimchi but if it's fresh from a mandu restaurant or cooked with Samgyup-sal then I actually love the stuff. It took me a while to figure that out.
Those pickled radishes (tamooji) just don't do it for me and I will never like the cheap chon(1000) won kimbab places. |

I was joking and yes, I can eat incredibly hot and spicy food too without running to the bathroom like most Westerners might I add. Not all Korean food is bad though. I'm sure you can find something palatable at the least. Have you had some Galbi Tang lately? I salivate at the thought of it. |

Yes I've had it many times. Koreans cum in their underpants/panties at the mere mention. |
So do I. |
