Why are fuel surcharges still so high - especially in Korea?
With the huge decrease in oil prices, shouldn't the surcharge be dropping as well? |

We don't burn fuel oil in our house. We've converted to burning soju vomit. There is an endless supply of soju vomit in Korea.
We heat our house for free.
We also no longer have problems with the Jeohvah's Witness women that used to keep knocking on our door. |

I think the OP is referring to the artificially inflated airfares. Korea doesn't reduce prices like the rest of the world does during an economic downturn. Nor does Korea decrease the surcharges like elsewhere just because oil has dropped like 60% in price in only 4 months. Korea is too protectionist and greedy to be cheap or even fair about money deals. |
