This is a follow-up from the nomination thread I posted this week.
http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=141800

Your choices are:
Namdaemun arsonist
President Lee Myung Bak
Fanuki's Vice Principal
The arsonist's judge before the fire
The judge in the incest rape case
The candlelight girl (Beef protesters and their mascot)
The Executive Director of "PD Diary"
Everyone on Dave's ESL Cafe
The Daegu Office of Education (elementary school sex scandal)
I'm throwing these in as well
Kim Jong Ill and his clan.
The Korean netizens
The Anti English Spectrum Club President

I was limited in options so these didn't make the cut.
The baseball player murder-suicide
The Dokdo protesters
Other
international banking and investment

I voted for the judge. He gave suspended sentences all around, and then sent the girl home with her abusers?

Poor thing is probably getting triple-teamed as I type this.

Yes, compared to Kim Jong Il and his regime that tortures children and innocent people, I also choose to condemn the dog torturers first.

Voted the Daegu Sex Scandal.

That's - irresponsible and negligent to the max.

In addition, they don't punish kids for this kind of thing? What kind of example are they setting?

They are basically degrading their entire society.

That is a tough one. Personally, I'd rather see a poll on the worst person on Dave's ESL Cafe this year.

If you voted for the judge, don't forget to get a Korean friend to help you sign a petition re: his insane judgement:

I vote for the PD Diary people.

They steered all the Korean 'cattle' (aka people) to do the protests by misinforming them.

The funny thing is, that person probably got punished harder than the rapists.

How can the judge be worse than the offenders?

Well, there is definitely something wrong with the offenders. They need mental help/rehabilitation. Their actions also require that they be punished. What they did/are doing is very, very bad, and they are some of the worst people in the country, no doubt.

The judge, though? He is in a postion to do something, not just about that family, but about other cases. There are expectations of him, and he betrayed that. He put that girl into harms way AGAIN, by allowing her to go back into the "care" of her older family members.

Another example would be a serial killer and a cop that caught him. Who is worse? The serial killer, or the cop that caught him and subsequently (and publicly, without no fear of punishment) let him go? The killer isn't paying for his crimes, is free to strike again, and others may "copy-cat" after witnessing the leniency.

What about Mr Lee, the idiotic drunk in Mokpo who threw the lit cigarette on the sofa, causing the fire that may kill that poor SA woman?

I am changing my vote. I hope he falls off a bridge.
