In contrast with the benighted lot who never tire of giving mere opinions, I stick to the facts:

* Korea has the 2nd-best seafood in the world. (Japan is No. 1)

* Korea has the best fried chicken in the world.

* When it comes to pork dishes, the depth and range of Korean cuisine is unequalled.

What countries have you been to and can you explain why you think Korean cuisine is unequaled. Where did you get your facts from and please provide some sources to support your claim.

Italy - better seafood (much, much better.)

fried chicken; I'm not sure you can turn this into a national cuisine issue. It's chicken, fried.

some ok pork dishes, again go to Italy.

From what I've eaten Korean seafood doesn't seem all the much to write home about. Maybe korea does have some nice seafood dishes that I've yet to discover but from what I've seen in regards the way Koreans look after their environment I'm not all that keen to eat more of the stuff.

There is no ceviche in Korea, ergo it cannot have the best seafood.
