This group posts a lot of announcements about everything from social events to how to navigate the public transportation system. There seem to be a lot of members from the corporate community and KAIST. I suggest joining the group and posting your question there.

No, you're a twit because you think that you're so cool that if there is nothing that YOU like to do, there must be nothing to do.
Off of the top of my head:
Sports
To play/do
ice hockey (www.hockeyinkorea.com)
soccer (http://www.ssflkorea.com/news.php)
ultimate frisbee (they play every week and travel to international events as well)
softball (used to be anyway)
scuba diving (you can learn in Daejeon - in English)
flying club (you can take intro lessons to fly -in English)
Swimming (quite few pools)
Golf (I'd have to ask the boys on the hockey team about that)
Hiking (great moutains, temples and trails all nearby)
Boxing, Tae Kwon Do etc
To watch
Baseball
Soccer
Volleyball
Arts
Museums (great photo exhibit last month)
Arts Center (I've seen quite a few concerts there)
Misc
Lots of "foreign bars" if you like that sort of thing (we are lacking in live bar music as far as I know)
All the regular stuff:
Movies
Billiards/pool
shopping
good restaurants
bowling
Most of the people I know are quite busy doing all kinds of things.
I don't know if these things will interst the OP, but that's not up to me. But there certainly no shortage of things to do.
If you're interested in stroking yourself, you'd have to contact YoungFrank...I don't know anything about that. |

There is one live band I know and they are terrific.
They are called the White Boys of daejeon.
