OP - why don't you delete this and post it wherever the "right" forum is?

maybe it was an oversight or maybe you're new like me and had forgotten thee was a separate place for politics, since this is the only forum i go to.

Any ideas what it was Bush was saying?

Bush: Ladies and gentlemen, people of Iraq, it gives me great pleasure to be able to tell you this morning that very first container of new NIKE sandals has arrived.

Wow, W. is pretty fast! The accuracy of the shoe thrower is right on target, lucky for W. he was able to dodge that.

GREAT AVATAR/S!

jdog2050's avatar is actually speeded up...the event was much slower than that, more like traxxe's avatar. jdog2050's avatar is really cool to look at though!

If Bush hadn't ducked in time, and if the shoe had hit him with enough impact, we could be facing a MAJOR international incident right now.

The journalist would be facing years behind bars for sure.

I would LOVE to know what happened (will happen) to him? Was he charged with assault? Will he spend a day, a month or years in jail?

Because the journalist missed, and could argue he missed on purpose, he might be able to argue freedom of expression, that he was somehow demonstrating, doing public protest. Hmmm... would what Iraqi law says about that. American law? gawd the fallout is of more interest to me than anything. Intent to injure? wa?
