I'm a lady so this is my advice - wear your best colon and dress up nicely. A good colon can weaken most women.

The quote says it all. This was reply to a guy who wanted dating advice. Just wanted to share because I'm still laughing about it. I love the fact this was written by an ESL teacher here.

If you dig you can find her name. I didn't want to make her totally feel bad you know... especially because when I make a typo someone might put my name up.

'Calon' is the Welsh word for 'heart', so maybe it was a typo after all.

Or else cummerbunds were invented by the Victorians to cover men's colons, lest the laydees go weak at the (well-covered) knees.

And I keep forgetting to tell Illysook that his/her name doesn't mean anything in Welsh, as s/he believes in another post. I digress...

When I read that in the other thread I was initially thinking maybe a colon was some sort of fashion piece that I wasn't aware of. Seriously, I was thinking it was some sort of tie or something.

Laughing

Imagine how a cologne might smell if it was named "Eue de Colon".

I bet it really would weaken a women if you used it. Just be sure to wash your hands after you apply it.

The semicolon, yes; but admit this: it can be a lot of fun to use your colon incorrectly (even if a bit messy).
