I am sticking the horror show out for another 2 months so I don't have to pay back my airfare, I will be at the 6 month mark then.

I am looking at the contract online and it doesn't say anything about the airfare being waived after the completion of 6 months?! Does anyone know what the deal is?

This is from their website and is a sample from 2007:

Article 6 (Resignation) ① Employee shall perform the duties set forth under Article 3 hereof during the Term of Employment set forth under Article 5 hereof.
② However, if Employee should desire to resign from the English Program In Korea and thereby terminate this Contract, he/she must give Employer a thirty (30) day prior written notice of resignation stating a date of and a reason for resignation.
③ In the case of Employee's resignation, the airfare for the return flight shall be borne by Employee, and his/her visa shall be cancelled.

Screw giving notice. If you're not gonna stick around in Korea, do a runner after you get paid.

the airfare for the return flight shall be borne by Employee

This means the cost of your flight OUT of Korea. They're not going to pay for it, obviously. After 6 months it means you don't have to give them money back for your flight TO Korea.

Ah, right. Perhaps I am getting a bit too anxious and losing my cognitive abilities....
