| aviod Langkawi, it was nothing special. I would recommend visiting the Cameron Highlands on your way over to the east coast and going to the perhentian islands. They are pretty amazing and all you could ask for in a beach holiday. Amazing snorkelling/scuba. We went snorkelling with reef sharks, turtles and all kinds of other stunning underwater life. |

It's been 10 years but the east coast was good, I enjoyed Tiamon (Tioman?) and Perhentian Islands, Penang was interesting, Cameron Highlands are nice, there are some nice national parks but the highlight is the food, especially the Indian food and what better breakfast is there but a couple of roti chani with an ice coffee?
Check out some islands maybe off the mainland. Enjoy. |

I've been to KL 5 or 6 times.
The first thing I always do is go to the Mid Valley shopping mall http://www.midvalley.com.my/ --- it is one station from the centre + has everything you could possibly need. An excellent and huge clothes department shop called "Kamdar" which I highly reccommend for cheap and good clothes. Nice food court there too, with food you couldn't buy in Korea.
3 days would be enough for KL though.
Spend the rest of the time at the beach. |
