I'm moving back to Canada in February and I am selling my Tucson. I am looking to sell it around mid-January-beginning February. It is a black MX model. I bought it in September 2006. It has 2.0 VGT diesel engine and is front wheel drive. It has a sunroof, leather seats (nice black and red micro dot), front and rear heated seats, reverse sensors, a front window de-icer, mp3 CD player, and pretty much everything else that comes standard with new cars these days (sports shifting, automatic lights, hands free cell phone, etc.).

As mentioned in the subject it is under 26 000km now (about 25 700) and will probably be just over 26 000km around mid-January. I have kept it very well maintained (regular oil changes and proper maintance like rotating tires as reccomended by Hyundai motors). I have checked with several used car dealerships and they have offered me between 11 000 000 and 12 500 000won. On-line cars (there are none similar as the closest kms are in cars less than a year old and cars that are 2 years old have an average of 80 000kms and up on them), but the average price for age and kms works out to be about 13 500 000 -14 500 000. So I am asking 13 000 000 for my car. It is a happy middle between what you would pay at a dealer and what a dealer will pay me for it. I should also mention that this car has never had an accident, which is a big thing in this country as most cars that are being sold so new have had some major problem. I am hoping to get some pics taken for potential buyers in the new future. I should also mention that I live in Daejeon.

Anyone interested please PM and I will answer any questions you have and send pictures once I get them taken.

Check that...I misheard my wife. The best offer from a dealer was 12 000 000. If you want to check out similar cars you can go to www.djusedcar.com. This is a good site for anyone who wants a used car by the way. Some decent deals are to be had. Cheers!

No the 2004 has a CRDI engine. The VGT was first available in the summer of 2006, so it wouldn't be a 2004. In fact the current engine in all diesel's is a VGT (Hyundai and Kia). I am not sure of the model year as in Korea they don't really use model years. They tend to use the date of the car being sold more than a model year. If I had to guess I would say it is a 2006 as I bought it September 2006, but I remember it was one of the first VGTs made in the Tucson, the new Santa Fe had just come out, and the first Veracruz came out a month later so it seems that August-end of October is when Hyundai changed their models in 2006.

Ok here are some pics of the car and its interior. In case the link doesn't go right to album, the one you should go to is called "car".

I don't have the official stats and I never really bothered to calculate it, but the tank is around 50L. I can tell you that driving in the city I usually get between 450-500km per tank. Hiway driving is closer to 600km per tank. For what it is worth the Tucson is a lot more efficient than my old 96 Hyundai Avante. I filled that every 5 days without fail. I fill this no faster than every 10 days and the cost is a lot cheaper. I think it cost about 60 or 65 000 on my last fill up. Diesel is pretty awesome.
