why do some people get on people if they talk about getting laid? Some of the funniest conversations and lies are with girls you've banged or the next morning, whatever. A couple of times a girl's cell phone rang early in the morning that had the voice of someone loud enough for me to tell it was a guy, and the girls say..."That's my girlfriend checking up on me." Only in Korea can you have sex with a girl and literally 30 seconds later she'll start talking about how she tried to kill herself and how she may try to kill herself again because she's trying to emotionally bond...also happened. My reply..."damn girl, I didn't think my sex was THAT bad." |

Cause number one, we're not your friend, and that stuff works better with friends over drinks
Two, we can only get excited for you if we believe you, and even though it may be true, when posted over the net to thousands of people, it just looks bad |

The "silly lie" part was uncalled for. But most of the points were simply recounting things others have said. Take away the "stud bragging" (which I presume is your main gripe) and you'd have some pretty cutting observations.[/quote]
Take away the "stud bragging" and you have 3, maybe 4 points (observations in your words) out of 10. It might have been a little more valid if it were the other way around and not 6 out of 10 were about (directly and indirectly) about the OP's sexual prowess. Basically it was saying "Look at me what a stud I am" with a couple of old tired comments about Korea that everyone knows and has heard ad nauseam. |

Hmmm seems like I have recieved a mixed reaction. Dont shoot the messenger - im only writing what actually happened. Also I have game - if player haters dont like it then they can wallow in their misery.
11. On a date with a Korean girl she tells me that she was raped! (by a Korean guy. I have heard this story so many times. I wonder if anyone else has heard these kinds of stories)
12. A Korean guy claims that there are no gays in Korea. The same day his Korean male friend started touching me up in a bar.
13. Korean girl tells me that western girls are more "open" than Korean girls. I had never really noticed the difference.
14. Drunken shakuhachi goes to the "room salon" again. Room salon HOT girl tells shakuhachi that she wants to meet him again "to be friends". Drunken shakuhachi rejects her because he thinks that she just wants to use his wallet (which is thin anyway). Sober shakuhachi realizes the next day that she was probably sincere.
15. Korean guy sincerely informs shakuhachi that Korean girls do not have sex before marriage and that shakuhachi aught to give up on trying to meet Korean girls (not that he could know I was trying). Although shakuhachi had disproved that theory long ago, he nodded and noted how tough that must be for Korean guys. |

Not many people seem to understand. There are different standards in Korea for touching. It's okay to touch a guy if you're a guy, because it's "friendly". Unfortunately, it is almost always taken the wrong way by foriegners.
Of course there are gay people in Korea, it's just a little quieter. |
