Governments ought to screen its citizens who wish to work overseas and keep all the 'tards locked up within national boundaries.

No wonder no one likes America. It's not our stupid television or movies, or cars, or whatever, it's that we sick herds of retards onto the rest of the globe. It's really embarrassing that we allow a bunch of drunk, egotistical, ethnocentric, close-minded, shallow, and pathetic people to represent our nation.

Forget the Koreans, they have their own problems they've got to work out, look at yourselves.

...I've met a few but I have also met some really good people from every country. We mention the "others" and speak briefly of them (somewhat egotistically and ironically, but humbly as well) before moving on to more interesting subjects or experiences.

Although your point has some merit, I would suggest that (this particular export) it helps people realize that every country has idiots. It can make the world a friendlier and more understanding - human - place...

It has occurred to me that the vacuous entertainment industry hasn't exactly done our countries (at least in the sense of North America - Canada and the US - not trying to lump us all together but there are people from both countries who are enthralled by this kind of thing) any favors in terms of how we are viewed by others....

The (seemingly celebratory) violence, the overbearing moral smugness...
and then the question,

"You're going there!!!??? Isn't it dangerous?"

Reality TV?

How embarrassing....

Then again, some of our public servants haven't done us any favors recently either. Maybe we should export them....Then they'll have really good reasons to cringe and leave the seat beside us empty until no choice remains....

Nice troll, but I'll bite anyway since it's late and I'm drunk. As you can see from my avatar and name, I'm not American.

Your idea has some merit, but should be directed at tourists rather than expats. I've met many idiotic American tourists in Europe. Many idiotic Brits too incidentaly, complaining about the lack of battered fish and chips in medieval Tusacan hill towns endowed with the type of family run restaurants that are gourmands wet dreams.

Nearly every American I've met who was staying long term in their country of choice has defied the stereotypes. They try to learn the language, experiment with the food, and do their level best to relate to the local residents. Your country must be truly insufferable, that's the only conclusion I can draw, since it forces the best and brightest from its shores.

Someone pissed in his oatmeal this morning. The world likes America for Hollywood productions. The American government does restrict millions from leaving for being on probation. Also most people don't have a passport or even a national level ID of any sort unlike in Europe where most have an EU passport and do go on a big gap year trip to see the world or at least travel during vacations. Some of those who do travel are too arrogant, didn't earn their wealth, and really don't know anything such as how to wash dishes, but I got a gut feeling this stereotype does not represent the English teachers here as they're usually people who put themselves through college and didn't have rich parents doing everything for them. They're people responsible for their own plight in life.

I guess anywhere you go, only a small % ever leave home with a few them being rich retards representing the USA. The USA is a system based on nepotism more so than merit so we do have fools representing us. I guess anywhere you go, you also have retards in charge, because they were born into something yadda yadda.

Yanks I find to be more varied than people from other English-speaking countries. A lot, in fact I think a large majority, of the ones who end up in Korea are actually quite a bit more open-minded than the ones who stay home. But the knobs that do escape, wow, when you make America and Americans look even much worse than they actually are that takes some work.

With Canadians, Kiwis, and Aussies, and to a lesser extent Brits I find that you get a lot more younger yobs but less serious nutters.

Well, felons aren't allowed to leave until parole is up.
Other than that you're asking too much.
I mean it is the point of America that you can be as retarded as you wish and be protected in that right is it not?

I believe the word retard is specifically used in one of the ammendments.

That is quite the observation OP. Anything bad happen to you lately as a result of this practice of your country that made you come to this conclusion, or are you just generalizing?
