You totally sound like a noob.

Because I've been on the board a year longer than you?
Do you have better things to do than to flame people on an anonymous message board?.......sad & pathetic..........I think you should start doing some lesson planning and cirriculum development instead of wasting your office hours picking fights on an anonymous message board like Dave's......if you knew anything about that sort of stuff, that is......

Quote:
Seconded. Get a life, dude.

So you are the exact type of American that comes to its aid when its getting flamed by others- god forbid if its another American doing it.........get over yourself and your overblown ego- America is not king anymore

Too bad there are assholes like these on the board that prohibit people from having any type of sensible discussion.........

^ Dude, take it easy. When you go off like you have, using expletives, calling people names - you end up cutting yourself off at the knees. Allow me to elaborate:

Your only thought right now is to "get back at me" for apparently insulting you by calling you a noob (face it, you really do sound like a guy fresh off the airplane, whether you like it or not). But by doing so (getting back at me) you are also alienating a bunch of other posters who are simply passing through or lurking. These people read your foul mouth and naive ideas, and in the end, inevitably come to the same conclusion as me - that you're a noob who hasn't yet learned to exercise restraint on the board. You reap what you sow.

Now, the fact that you tell us that you are not a noob, that you were on Dave's before and that you are re-incarnated under another username also tells us about you. For whatever reason, you no longer post under the same ID you once had. That is also a bit of a red-flag...

Me: "Oh, beloved 8-ball, is Louie a noob?"
8-ball: "All signs point to yes."

The SEAL SLAUGHTER, utterly barbaric and totally out of sync with the country's relative tendency to be thoughtful and compassionate-- Embarassed

The US gun laws need a major legislative overhaul. If I were American, that would annoy / embarass me. Particularly when Gun Lobbyists stymie proposed changes every time.

I'll agree with Fat Elvis on the Cronulla race riots, glorification of sport, & treatment of Australian indigenous peoples. Perhaps the cheesy, stereotypical Steve Irwin, as well?

You mean we should limit our fishing but not seal-hunting (which eat fish), so we have so many seals, they climb onto the shore and eat garbage? That sounds much better.

I'm embarrassed for actually believing there was a chance that this thread wouldn't turn into another US vs CAN slagfest.

OK, I'll spell it out for you. Men hacking on BABY SEALS's heads with a pick. What other animal is killed in this caveman style? What other animal is killed when it's a helpless baby(majority under 3 months)? The ones that are shot instead suffer needlessly because it's from a moving boat and many end up falling into the water.

So you try to turn it into an overpopulation problem? You think nature needs human's help so hack the pups to death with a club, this is your reasoning? You're suggesting there are no animals that eat seals? Heard of polar bears, killer whales or sharks?

The Daily Mail and the people who not only read it but believe it too.

Especially look out for a "journalist" named Richard Littlejohn. I can fully recommend this article about the pilot episode of Afghanistan's very own version of 'Who Wants To Be a Millionaire'.

Polar Bears are endangered. Not enough of them left to control the seal population.

The fish shortage is a human problem, but limiting fishing and banning seal hunting just makes a bigger problem.

An ice-pick? Sounds like poachers. Happens all over the world.

I will add one more to my list. Natives who 'respect and honour animals' spirits' dancing on top of a dead whale with beer bottles.
