The Krishna religion I (more-or-less) follow is essentially dancing, chanting, and feasting - based on philosophy that at least makes sense on some level.

Of course, the same idiots who think that dancing leads to hell think that Krishna must be the devil... Twisted Evil

If you are afraid to dance and celebrate you are already in hell.

seems like a joke to me...

I really, really need your dollars today.
-Jerry Falwell

Reverend Jerry Falwell says dancing leads to pre-marital sex, drinking, smoking, voting pro-choice, and driving foreign cars. And I always trust Reverend Falwell.

But this shit can get real scary. Anyone see Jesus Camp?

Knitting leads to onanism, sitting as they do with the blanket on the lap.

I like Krishna. He got it on with a lot of Gopees, just like Satan.

Christians can be fruit loops at times but God ain't.
God still loves the fruit loops.
But the fruit loops that are really wolves dressed as sheep are not real sheep.

Sadly, preachers get corrupted by money often.

But Jesus hasn't changed and is incorruptible.

Sorry, but myths tend to change with the times. Just look at Duetronomy. Sold your daughter into slavery recently?

You assume that Jesus has an existence independent of the mind. He does not. Moreover, he has no existence independent the mind any more than words have meaning independent a mind.

Jesus does change. There are thousands of different Jesuses, as diverse as there are different churches, at least.

No, Jesus is an idea, and I hesitate to use the singular, indefinite article. Better it is to say that there are many Jesus ideas.

This whole thread is pointless. Every religion, association, belief or lack thereof has its whackjob adherents. That's because humanity is endowed with people of that type of people no matter what context you choose.
If people believe in God and Christianity they are going to continue unfazed. If you don't then you are as steadfast as the former. End of discussion.
There are people that profess Christianity who I wouldn't turn my back on and equally I know athiests who can't be trusted with a cue tip.

Also, besides the notion that there are thousands of interpretations of Jesus, there are facts that point to there not being a Biblical 'Jesus'. The 'man' didn't exist. There were many Jesuses over a long period. Furthermore, the town of Bethlehem didn't exist at the supposed time of 'his' birth.

Jesus. Is. A. Lie.

Well, we got rid of a lot of other gods. We just need to be patient with this one.

Ok, fine. You're not going to change anyone's mind one way or the other. So whats the point of arguing it to death? You have your belief.
