My husband is a freak for anime robots and stuff he can put together. I don't really get it myself, preferring books... Rolling Eyes but whatever, he's in Iraq and I want to make him happy for Christmas. Does anyone know where I can find cool little robot stuff or other anime stuff for him? If you know where a shop is, do me a favor and give me really good directions because I'm still new in Korea...

THANKS!

Konkuk University Station on Line 2.

Its 2 stops away from Technomart in Gangbyon.

I don't know what store Ukon is talking about. There are a ton of shops around Konkuk Uni station, and I don't suggest walking around to see if you find it.

I know Technomart has a few booths that sell figurines and model kits. If you go up to the Computer floor, you walk around following the wall and you'll see a few booths here and there that have a lot of things.

Also, in CoEx there is a big toy store that sells model kits. I believe its near the Aquarium.

I forgot emart has some but it's pricey. Coex has a store too

It would be a bit hard to give directions to the shop I mentioned but the prices are very good...it's tiny...also has lots of rare models too. It's a10 minute walk to the station.

Your Husband wouldn't happen to be looking for some these?

There is a big model shop right next to sindorim station. Just come out of the station to the street and look for the building with signs for tamiya, academy and revel. Very Happy

i've been to the one at Yongsan. It's in a building with electronics stores not the main electronics building. It's on the same floor as a cinema (but not CGV) and a furniture shop. I'll find out the name of store and also building name this weekend.

The easiest one to find in Yongsan is on the main road just a couple meters from Shinyongsan station (line 4) exit 3. Just look around when you leave the exit. It'll be on the corner of a narrow alley. Huge selection of all kinds of model kits, Gundam-type included.

Also the one in COEX is pretty good too. I bought a kit there once. It's down the large but sparse hallway where the Megabox theaters empty out.

There's also one down the hill from Edae subway station nearby Shinchon, on the main road going towards Shinchon station.

The one near Konk Uni is more of a toy shop with lots of Playmobile. The one in the Coex is probably the best because they have an overall good selection of models robots, anime toys, etc..

I'm talking about a totally different shop....it's almost entirely gundam models...

It's small and not far from the station....I can give the op directions if she wants...just go out exit two(at konk univ. station) and take the first right....keep going until you see a school and take another right....keep walking for about 5-10 minutes and looking for a a very small shop(just a door actually with a big robot(gundam to be exact) on the right....don't cross any streets.....

Prices are real good
