Hi,
I am interested in going on a Gaesung tour. I am aware that South Korea had a fall out with North Korea rcently and that some trade between the 2, mainly those in Gaesung were stoped.
Are the tours still going, and does anyone know of any which are good, or have links to websites offering tours?
Thanks |

Wait until this inter-Korean tension dies down (whenever that is). Pyongyang is about to get meaner toward Seoul, and well, if you are an American, you might be legally banned from traveling to the North.
Dude, save your money for something else. |

I haven't been on the tour, but know someone who has. Most likely they will be restarted once stuff mellows out. There seems to be moments of high tension between the two countries and then things tend to get better for awhile. Who knows what will happen though. |

What don't you just kill a North Korean while you are there. That is essentially what you are doing by giving money to the North Korean gov't by taking a trip there. Are you not aware of the human rights situation in the North? Why would you financially support such a country?? |

On December 1st, N. Korea closed the border crossings to Kaesong. Only a handful of S. Korean workers may now cross. No tour for you. |

Why would you give your money to the murderers in the North? Do you support what they're doing? They're just gonna use that money to further enslave their people, and you will be morally responsible. |

yeh guy! how dare u make a decision for yourself about going somewhere that you want to go before running it by the morale police. I know as a matter of fact that the actual money you use to pay for your trip is made into a gun and used to shoot north korean orphans...
I wanted to go on that trip too, but i waited too long, and now they have stopped them, I was looking forward to watching my won in action, but contrary to popular belief you don't actually get to kill any North Koreans while you are there... |

I went through adventurekorea.com and it was super amazing and interesting - the propoganda is pretty interesting and though you can't take pictures of ANYTHING besides what they say - a waterfall and that kind of stuff - anyways, I would definitely recommend it |

Let me repeat: The border was closed on December 1, 2008. No more tours. |
