Check out Gmarket. They usually have good deals. I would ask a Korean to find you something used online. THey typically buy thousands of dollars of new stuff before they know if they like it. They use it once, hate it and sell it for pennies.

Also, up in the mountains of Kangwando they have lots of ski and board shops with new and used stuff. You can also do really cheap rentals for all of the equip, (pants and jacket included.) You can get top of the line stuff, for two days for about $25US at the shops in Kangwando. Just go to Yong Pyong and there's tons of places.

Hope that helps.

There's a street in Seoul somewhere that has a bunch of board shops. I know, not much help, maybe someone else here has more specific directions to the place I'm talking about.

There are a bunch of shops around Hakdong station near Gangnam. At least I remember that being the case a couple of years ago.

Has anyone seen Telemark skis, boots or bindings for sale here? I have never seen them in the shops I've been to. Even at the open house/ski show at Coex a few weeks ago there was no sign of them. I know it isn't popular here.

yeah, come out Hakdong Station, and walk south, towards Seoullung Station. You'll see like 5 or 6 board shops.
