I have a friend who is teaching in Korea he told me about this website, I'm trying to figure out how long I can stay. 90 days with no visa right? Do I need some sort of visa if I want to stay longer than 3 months? I might leave and check out Japan or China for a bit then come back. Thinking of going to teach after I get my degree, so I want to check Korea out.

I wouldn't spend more than 2 weeks here. Use Korea to see other parts of Asia. Each time you leave and come back I think that you get another 90 days.

Really? That would be sweet then, just taking a quick break off school and want to travel. Seeing as my friend is there and he loves it, figure I'd give it a stay and see how I feel if I want to go to teach or something.

Can anyone confirm or deny this for me?

It's true. Some people do this time after time for years.

Depends on where you're from. Americans now get 90 days (started last month.) Canadians get 6 months.

Yes I'm from the USA, I know they changed it to 90 days(3 months). If I leave to visit other countries and come back though do I get a fresh 90 days or am I on my original 90 day pass still?

Every time you leave the country you get a fresh tourist visa when you return.

It's true, as long as you don't have an e-2 or some other visa. A tourist is just a tourist, it doesn't matter if your last visit was 2 years ago or 2 days.

Awesome I didn't want to have to jump through hoops to be able to travel.
