-to never accept
-garbage

resume
-to continue an action after a cessation of that activity
-your work and education history

wind
-moving air
-to prepare something for action, ex: to wind up

I made a note a few days ago to always say: "renewing" instead of resigning when appropriate. It causes confusion.
