My first school tried to force me to sing and dance. I tried dancing the disco but I didn't dance the way they thought that a foriegner should. I have refused to sing or dance since then. We are like dancing monkeys to our employers.

Dance monkey. Sing monkey. Take less pay monkey.

Oooh, I did this with the kids from my middle school grade 1 class. It was fun. Don't be a spoilsport. Nobody cares if you get it all wrong, just shimmy in the bits you can't remember.

You can always say no though. Scroooge.

Nothing ties the bond tighter between a means-nothing foreign teacher and an influential Principal than the jiggling of body parts to KOREAN music...

As long as you talk about having a wardrobe malfunction early on, they will cut your part out of the assembly, don't worry. If they don't registration to the sex offender list isn't too hard i'm sure haha

If you did this, the kids would love you. If you were asked to do this and you said no, the other teachers might feel insulted.

When I learned a bit of that "Pat Bing Su" song, my kids went mental. They were loving it.

It's all in good fun. What could be the harm in doing something like that? In my experience, it only makes you more popular and well-liked.
