Looking for the best idea to layover a night in Seoul. Flying into Gimpo, stay over night, and fly out of Incheon the next day. On the return, it will be the opposite. I've heard of the love motels. Any advice?

Hasn't anyone ever had to stay over a night before their flight out the next day? Where do you stay, inexpensively, and close to the airports????

Depends on what you want to see or do while in Seoul. Love motels (called "yeogwan" in Korean) are all over the place. I recommend Sinchon station. It's on the west side of central Seoul, it has many yeogwans near the old train station, Sinchon has a party area and is one subway stop away from Hongdae, a bigger party area.

If your flight is early and you just want a place to sleep, there's an airport village a couple clicks away from Incheon airport with motels and love motels.

That sounds like a great place! Let me know how it is. Do the shuttle buses run as frequently as they say? How are the rooms? How long does it take from the guesthouse to the airport?
Thanks in advance! |
