Considering that 3 Christmases ago I got a coupon for a kiss, and two years ago, a coupon for 10 kisses, while I got her a digital camera, I'm not going to have high expectations this year. I'm not going to spend a lot of money either.

Ouch. Is she always that thoughtful?

The first year I got my girlfriend lingerie and earrings, the second year I got her a nice watch, and I this year I'm flying her to the states for a road trip.

A Korean woman friend noted her white bf gave her $200 cash for christmas.

Me: That seems a little impersonal. Just shoving cash in an envelope.

Her: I like cash.

Fair enough.

To each their own about the cash thing. To me it shows no thought or emotion.

Isn't that the definition of prostitution? Whatever spices up your side dish.

I agree. I tell my gf that if after 4 years of dating and spending most weekends shopping together, if I still don't understand her tastes (let alone know her sizes) then she has no business dating a jerk like me.

Gave her earrings. I hate to buy anything clothing wise cause I have the worst luck finding something chicks like in that department. Didn't want to do a ring cause that's all sorts of wrong messages.

I can't possibly shop without the help of a woman...

Total this week I've spent 25 hours christmas shopping. I have 6 gifts. Thats about 4 hours for looking for 1 gift. Massive fail.

I wish I could buy a giant sign that says "MeiGook Failure at christmas shopping, need the help of attractive young korean women to help"

I will probably end up buying all my female friends (and girlfriend) brooms, dust pans, or mops because that seems to be my Modeus operendai (spelling?) of terrible gift giving.

I'm sorry I just don't understand women. How do you guys go about looking for gifts? DO you just browse till something hits your eye? Do you watch her for a week observeing what things she might need? Or do you just know her well enough to sense what she likes?

I don't know any woman well enough to have a "thoughtful" gift. The best gifts I've ever given were gift certificates.

F--- You christmas. Hope you die. Very Happy

XD lol

Yeah I went to Lotte a few times. I can't spend much and my GF is a really classy girl. Like breakfast at tiffanys classic kind of woman. We just stareted going out and I already bought her a necklace for the occasion. So now that I dropped the Jewelry bomb I'm left with no ammunition for the upcoming assault.

I don't want to buy clothes, because my taste sucks, and I can't possibly buy anything too casual because of her high class standards. In addition, I don't want to get anything "too sweet" because if her parents see the gift, they would start getting susupicious. The necklace was ok because it was a cheap gift and her parents could think that she bought it for herself.

I LIKE the princess for a day spa idea, but my GF is too busy for that.

AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At this point, price is becoming less and less of an issue the more and more I can't think of ideas.
