Where can I get them? Do you think Costco has them? I don't mind frozen ones, but I just don't have room in my kitchen to throw a whole crab in a pot. |

The places that sell king crabs will steam them for you.
Better yet, find a king crab delivery place. They'll cook the crab and deliver it to your door. |

How much one them King crabs cost? I seen snow crab legs at Emart for like 40,000 won for 1 kg. They were smaller than a pencil is around and expensive. The fish and shrimp also command hefty prices. I was afraid to ask how much that 1 or 2 pound live lobster at Jalgalchi fish market in Busan runs, but I suspect in the area of 100,000 won. Perhaps these sorts of things are lacking in supply just like most other commodities despite there being ocean locally all around us. I've been getting salmon for seafood. |

I get them for 5-10k won at Jukbyeon Port here in Uljin County! Right off the boat when they come in the morning! Buying a whole bunch for new years and partying
Edit: These are Uljin snow crab I buy, the big orange ones... anyways.. they're big and delicious |

A King Crab will run you around 40,000-60,000 depending on the size. eating 1 will fill you up.
What you do is you get a bowl of melted butter. You pick off a lot of meat and then you just drop it into the bowl. Don't eat it yet, just let the crab meat soak up the butter.
Wait until there is enough meat in the bowl to cover up the melted butter. Then grab a fork/spoon and just shovel it into your mouth.
It is amazingly delicious. Much better than simply dipping pieces in and eating it. |

Okay, so yesterday at Costco I bought some snow crab legs, already cooked. What's the best way to defrost them? Basically I am making a pasta dish with the meat, so I will be heating it up in the pan with butter/garlic. |

just steam them again. Not too much since they are already cooked. Jsut steam them enough so that the legs are hot again.
How much were the crab legs form Costco? |

For maybe 4-6 pairs of legs they ran anywhere from 18,000-25,000 won. Wasn't really what I was looking for as I wanted King Crab, but the Snow Crab will have to do for now. |

At HomePlus they have crab legs that they cook for you. It takes 20 mintues. 10,000 won will buy a very good sized portion.
Butter is good, but I prefer nothing, just the taste of the meat with a swig of beer in between. |

Do you think I should NOT cook the crab in alfredo sauce? That's what I was going to do for this meal...shrimp and crab in sun-dried alfredo sauce over pasta.
I'm wondering if the taste of the meat will be lost with the other flavors. Do you recommend me saving them for another meal and just serving them with drawn butter? |
