I tried to get an avatar. However there is no "avatar " option on the edit profile options.

Make 100 posts.

Aside: Isn't this written somewhere or can we make a sticky? I'm seeing this thread every week now.

Silly question but did you go to the very bottom of your profile page? That's where the avatar control panel is. If you don't have one then start posting like mad.

99 posts to go. Yeee, haaa, ride em' out like a cowboy at a Texas rodeo and then I'll show you what a robot teacher looks like. I just learned a few new sayings many of you are already familiar with and am exuberant about living in the land of calm mornings. Anyeong Hasayo.

After sizing up this job for 2 years since getting a college education programmed in the subject of finance which lacks employment opportunity, I finally escaped the rat race of living paycheck to paycheck in a big box retailer when I was laid off 5 weeks ago with the employer disputing my unemployment insurance claims, applied for an eslcafe account, and will introduce myself before I go firing off 99 more rantings about things like loud speaker trucks at 6AM, declination of the West, shorted pay, lack of shopping appealing to a Westerner, lack of communication, and other things like rediculous last minute changes. Does seem like a lot of work to show an avatar compared to Thaivisa allowing the account, avatar, and everything from the get go in 2 minutes flat, but that site is for Thailand; not Korea. By the way, I did serve my waiting time for robotic account activation. I'm a Japanese made robot of US citizenship, uh, I mean ownership. I once resided in the Sunny state, but recently, highly recently, my owner put me on a model 747 Rocket to Planet Korea for a 3 month trial run to see if it's a good fit while the American job market collapses to a pile of defunct wires. Today, I'm beginning a trial test run of robot teachers in the classroom with great success on my 1st day for the Korea Ministry of Education under a program called, "EPIK." Thank you and have a wonderful year to all new fellow public school teachers.

You might be wondering. Why did a robot stagger out of your favorite bar?

He had one charge too many.

[yes there is a sticky but it doesn't help if you don't have an avatar control panel!]
